This Privacy Policy explains how kredl (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our platform at kredl.in and related services. Please read this carefully. By using kredl, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
When you create a kredl account, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, password, profile photo, and professional information such as your creative discipline, location, and portfolio content. When you use kredl, we also collect usage data — the pages you visit, features you use, content you interact with, and the time and frequency of your activity. We collect standard device information such as browser type, operating system, and IP address. If you connect a third-party account (such as Google) for sign-in, we receive basic profile information from that service as permitted by your settings there.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to: — Provide, maintain, and improve the kredl platform — Create and manage your account — Show your profile to other users and enable you to discover other profiles — Send you platform notifications, opportunity alerts, and messages — Process applications to Drops and Collab requests — Verify professional credits and project history — Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service — Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information sharing
Your public profile information — including your name, creative discipline, portfolio, and verified credits — is visible to all users of kredl, including Enablers searching for talent. We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing). These providers are contractually required to use your information only to provide services to us. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public. We will notify you of such requests where legally permitted to do so. In the event kredl is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies and tracking
kredl uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the platform. Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. You cannot opt out of these. Analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns so we can improve the platform. You can opt out of analytics tracking in your account settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers.
5. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. No system is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. 6. Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes, or where it is needed to resolve disputes. Some information (such as your participation in completed Collab projects that other users also participated in) may remain visible as part of their verified credits even after you delete your account.

8. Children
kredl is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete their information. 9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the platform. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated. Your continued use of kredl after changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
