Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the kredl platform. Please read them carefully before using kredl. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using kredl (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including Creators (artists and creative professionals) and Enablers (studios, production houses, labels, agencies, and other organisations that post opportunities or hire talent).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use kredl. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful. If you are accessing kredl on behalf of an organisation (as an Enabler), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Account registration and security
You must create an account to access most features of kredl. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share your account with others, impersonate another person, create multiple accounts for the same individual, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their consent. Notify us immediately at security@kredl.in if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
4. User content
You retain ownership of all content you post on kredl, including your profile information, portfolio work, and messages ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant kredl a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content in connection with operating and improving the Platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where your content has been shared or relied upon by others (for example, as part of a verified project credit). You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your User Content. Do not post content that misrepresents your professional credentials, experience, or the nature of opportunities you post.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not: — Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about yourself, your organisation, or any opportunity — Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users — Spam other users or post duplicate, repetitive, or off-topic content — Attempt to circumvent or reverse-engineer any security measures or functionality of the Platform — Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without our written permission — Use the Platform to advertise non-creative-economy services unrelated to the Platform's purpose — Violate any applicable law or regulation — Infringe the intellectual property rights of others Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination.
6. Drops and opportunities
Enablers who post Drops (opportunities) are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of those postings. kredl does not guarantee the accuracy of any Drop listing or that any particular opportunity will result in a hiring decision. kredl does not act as an employer, agent, or recruiter. Any employment, project, or engagement relationship formed through the Platform is solely between the Creator and the Enabler. kredl is not a party to any such relationship and is not responsible for any disputes arising from it.
7. Intellectual property
The kredl Platform — including its design, codebase, logo, trademarks, and non-user content — is owned by or licensed to kredl and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Platform is described in our Privacy Policy, available at kredl.in/privacy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
9. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. kredl makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any user-generated content on the Platform, including professional claims made by Creators or the legitimacy of opportunities posted by Enablers.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KREDL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. KREDL'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO KREDL (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Platform. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your profile and User Content will be removed, subject to the exceptions noted in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India. If you have a dispute with another user, we encourage you to resolve it directly. kredl is not obligated to mediate disputes between users, but may do so at its discretion.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of kredl after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when these Terms were last updated.
